What brands, sizes rims and tires would anyone suggest for a 300ex? (front and rear, all terrain) I am no racer, and I am no millionaire!
Thanks

if your no million air, i would get shreader rear tires on douglas .125 (or w/e) rims, and razzrs front, or razzrs all around. depened what conditions you ride in...

I do not recommend getting .125 rims unless you strictly ride in the dunes. I have known a couple people to buy .125 Douglas rims because they are so cheap and the first sizeable rock or tree they mashed bent the rim, in two cases breaking the bead. Buy .190 rims for the best all-terrian rim - or OEM 400ex/300ex rims which already have the rolled lip (much stronger than no lip rims). I have always had great luck with Razrs on both the front and the back - 6ply if you ride in rocky terrian.

I'm with Maoz, stay with your factory wheels.

im with maoz and jeff, the stockers are the best best, the rolled edge gives you alot more protection

if your not wanting to spend much money you could get bandits for the back 20 inch they are pretty good have good grip and are tough. only about 50-55 bucks in rocky mountain i think.

Thanks for the advice, for now I am just going to do away with my balloon rear tires, and pick up some razrs from rocky mountain (those guys are so cheap!).
How big of a difference will I notice between 22 and 20 inch tires?
Also, any suggestions on good handlebars?

they will help alot in cornering and just overall handeling. plus the look alot better. i have renthal handlebars on my 300 and i like them alot. i have rolled twice and bent my stem both times and the bars are unharmed. i would recommend renthal or tag they are also good.
