Can a 87-86 style swingarm fit on a 88-89 style frame without ANY modification to the frame? I found a nice laeger frame forsale but its a 88-89 style. Can i use it wth all of my 87 components? Stock a arms, swingarm.... steering stem, bumpers, and grab bar

No. You will have to modify the frame to hold the swinger. Also, the grab bar will not fit, it's too short.

Wow!! That's a great illustration. Nice job. I can't answer you for sure. I have personaly had no experience with this modification. I will not give any one info on something I do not know for sure.I have heard about this several times in this forum. I'm sure that some one will be able to answer your question soon.

Yes, that will work fine. One of my Lonestar chassis has an 86-87 style Lonestar swingarm and that's exactly what I did.
