View Full Version : Swing arm pivolt bolt help.

Hey I was trying to get the swingarm pivot bolt out its kinda sruc any ideas how to get it out ?
I tried turning it pounding it all that stuff.
I move the egine up and down it turns then
I think its is seized in the engine part .
Please help ASAP

But I tried almost everything I cut it with a sawzall pounded it with a 16 pound sledge and attempted drill it , move everything around pb blasted it , I just dont know what to do I even heated it up .
Im ready to cut the back of the engine off. LOL:rolleyes:
I just don't know what to do ??
Someone please help

I used a impact wrench and a open end wrench.Put the open end behind the head od the bolt and pull on it as you use the impact wrench to spin the bolt.Not sure if this will help ya or not,but when i took mine out the bearings were almost melted into the swingarm and the swinarm itself was damaged where the dust caps go on(had to be machined) so the bolt was kinda stuck.But it came right out using the impact or air wrench.
