I've never quite figured out why people get there WAY earlier! And also, why stand in a line??? I've always got there about 45mins early before they open and just stay in my Jeep then when they open the doors up just walk in...Who says you have to stand in line?? ;)

I'll probably be laughing... what brand is the flat screen and surround sound? Model numbers? That doesn't sound like a great deal to me...

My view on this... most, if not all stores put JUNK on sale to draw in people... true some decent items might be on sale, but I'm watching the news right now around Pittsburgh... traffic is backed up all over.

One of our outlet malls opened at midnight last night... the traffic on the interstate was backed up 10 miles!!!! This morning its still backed up a couple miles!!! I would GLADLY pay the regular price for my x-mas items to not deal with these idiots.

I thought Black Friday wasnt the busiest day of the year? I thought it was the Sat. before Christmas? I'm always hearing people say that Today is the most busiest but I've also heard that Sat. before Christmas was the busiest.

i prefer quality over quantity...like mofo said...brand names and model numbers

everything i bought was on sale or cheaper than retail...and thw few extra dollars saved is not worth the hassel of rude people trying to save a few pennies. people get too ignorant for me...they stand in the way, run you over, don't excuse themselves or apologize when they bump into you...screw that crap

its a poloroid 40" LCD 720 flat screen...sure its not the greatest, but it certainly does work for me, an 18 year old with a budget. I already hooked everything up, the TV sounds and looks just like I expected it too, although i went the extra step and got a wireless panasonic surround sound system, sound quality is amazing and was well worth the money.

Today is the busiest day of the year, and quite frankly...it was not that bad. I didnt have one rude person bump into me, everyone i came in contact with was nice, polite. Circuit city only let in 50 people at a time, so the store was not packed at all..although, the line outside was around the corner of the building and to the back of the parking lot. Good thing i got there at 3:30

Not to mention the free digital camera I got, havent taken a look at it yet, but Im sure its crappy...but oh well, cant go wrong with free stuff:o

Well I picked up a few things online:
155 Piece Craftsman Mechanic Set
2 Gal Craftsman Wet/Dry Vac

That's it. But the tools should come in handy, never really had a set of my own before, and the wet dry vac was definitely needed and you can't go wrong for 15 bucks.

I wasn't out, and wasn't planning on being out, you can get a lot of the deals advertised online and just opt for in-store pickup. I personally thing black friday is ridiculous, but it's the first day of the year where stores go out of the red and into the black, hence the name black friday, aka making profits.

Haha I dunno but 15 bucks for a Craftsman Wet/Dry vac is a steal, although its small for what I'll use it for, it will be awesome for the price!

I just went to Sears at around 4:30pm and it wasnt bad at all. I pulled up, parked in the second row, walked in found the tools, went to the cashier and then walked out. Took all of about 10 minutes.

I was gonna get the 155pc with the carry case but ended up getting this 263pc.

Where did he go shopping, That seems a little to hard to believe.

11-25-2006, 06:51 PM
i know thats what i said, but my dad was shopping and then he found his friends brother who works at home depot and my dad went shopping with the employee that works there (they are friends i guess im not too sure) and the guy showed my dad where he could get 150 tools for $10, so my dad bought 2 of those, then another set of 240 tools from black and decker for $17 and then bought some other tools...it totaled in at like 480 tools or something like that. my mom saw all of it and was kinda mad and he smiled and said, hey, i only spent $50 on it and she started laughing
