Question About Air Scoops

Are they really worth it? All they do is catch more air to help cool the engine, right? (400EX)

There mainly for looks and stickers, maybe at high speeds they might pull in air but it's very little. It dresses up the bike though.
What kind are you looking for I have OMF but their is UM, RTC, and Tinner makes good air scoops.

I was just wondering, I was looking are rockymountain and saw a pair for 65$, I was wondering if they are really worth it. I guess not then.

UM scoops are the same as OMF just cheaper.
