Anyone know of any cheap price but good quality +3 arms? I'm looking to get suspension but i won't just get shocks without aftermarket arms.

I'm looking to get some of these shocks Link (http://www.danacreechracing.com/categories/products/product-114.html) Does anyone know if their longtravel or not? It doesn't say.

I ride mostly trails, some dunes and a bit of MX.

I would say those are ST, but they are PEPs so they should be okay.

I second the smc fabrication. $575 for a set of lifetime warranty and for an extra $50 dollars you can get castor adjustability. I have run these at a few maxxis six hours and they hold up awesome.

Anyone else have this experience? Cause I've had my eye on Burgard's ST Premium A-Arms... I really like the integrated ball joint in the A-arm. Maybe i'm limiting myself.. there are probably more that integrate like that...

I hear horror stories about Burgard and their custmor service( serch on yfzcentral).

Id say save up a little more and get Houser.

Ill have to agree. two years of xc racing and no trouble. He even replaced a tie rod my buddy bent for free. Make sure you get the option to use the stock honda pivot bearings. I have Leagers, and the bushings wear out in a few races, where the stock honda bearings will last for a long time. I will never own any other type of pivot setup except the stock style bearing.

I was considering going with smc fab. arms and elka reg travel but coundnt find much feedback about their xc setup, so I didnt go with it. They looked like a mgc arms like atv 4 play but $100 cheaper and with a much better warrenty. I found a used set of ars/fx axis long travel instead. But would recommend smc arms

i dont recomend burgard, i bought a set of +3+1's for my 250r about 2 or 3 years ago and within in a year I had bent both the uppers, I was not satisfied with them at all, and the balljoints went bad, with proper matinance. I dont think it was a one problem deal cuz one side bent then about a month later the other side was bent. They did replace them which i was happy with but they shouldn't have bent in the first place.

I would recomend houser i had a set of their lt's on my R and they were great.

I have a set of Burgards and a set of Housers both on 400ex's and they take exactly the same ball joint (VW style). I have not had problems with either arms or ball joints.

Its much easier to bend a lower than an upper a-arm....sounds like your leaving parts out of the story.

We all know the $399 burgard arms are not the greatest, but at that price who cares? They're next step up arms have the better balljoints and are just like everyone elses arms. Those SMC seem to be a good buy

Definitely stay away from the american star arms like someone suggested.

Improper adjustment would be my guess.
There is such thing as greseing something too much also.

Both uppers bent, at seprate times. They said that it was a commom problem they were having and it was probially from a bad batch of chromoly. Their customer service while slow was very good and they were replaced for free. Also I had them set up properly, I am very mechanically inclined and took great care of my stuff. Please dont make me look stupid for sharing my information. Just making awareness of my previous problems.

Thanks,Jesse
