'07 450r plastic bolt on an '04?

i was wondering if the '07 plastic will bolt up to my '04? i'd like to buy a set of the white stuff through OEM.......

I'm pretty sure the fronts are bolt on. If you get plastics for a kicker, the rears will work.

I know the Hoods/light arent the same but if you can use your 04/05 hood then it should work.

The 07 kicker only comes in Red

we're all getting into one big misunderstanding so instead of getting into a big argument i'm just going to end it here haha


that guy said the 07 kickstart 450 comes in red only. that guy didn't realize that they all have the kickstart slot (whoever it was whatever) i didn't see the quote before the one you quoted and thought that you misread



either way, i don't see why they wouldn't fit. there weren't any changes to the frame were there? only thing changed i thought was just the front hood/light

My 07 white plastic doesent have a kicker slot.

you can get white with a kicker slot i checked at my honda shop a coulple days ago. but the problem is with the rear fender mounts honda switched a couple of mounts on the front of the rear plastics by the gas tank if you have a service manual you can see it plane as day.

I put 07 white plastics on a 05 , I bought a new plastic heat guard that goes under the tank and the plastics went on just fine!

I ordered white plastics for my 06 and ordered the one with the kicker cut out just incase I wanted a kicker someday!


My point being is , why would honda have white plastics with the kicker cut out and only offer them in red ????

Answer, you can get a 07 with white plastics w/ a kicker !

I myself wanted to go with the 07 white plastic. I have an 06 450er, and my red stock plastic was all cracked up in less than a year. It was cracked under the seat and also the bracket right above the exhaust mount was broken. So I bought some white Maier Plastic from motorsport outlet for about the same price, and it fits really well, and looks very nice also. Plus it comes with a year warranty. Plus it comes for the kick start or the electric start. They send an optional panel for the side. I was really impressed with it.
