Hello everyone, i want to race in the glqra series next year. It is a series around the great lakes region. Anyway i am very familiar to the polaris brand. I have mostly owned polaris and a couple of hondas, 2 yamahas and 1 kawi. But now that i want to be a contender i need something faster than my current quads which are a 01 trailblazer 250 and a 95 400L 2x4 utility. If the class requires a 450cc limit for 4 strokes what am i better off with? a detuned predator- 440 kit, or a built up 400ex. ANd a 450 is out of the question due to financial problems!:( The predator seems like an all around better machine but the 400ex seems to have a lot more available parts. Since i already own it would it be worth building up the trailblazer? I am about 6' 3" and about 250 which machine would you recomend for my situation. And by the way i will probably be in the c or b class. Any help is appreciated!!!:D

Honda 400ex would be the way to go.
parts are the cheapest and easiest to find.

most races are not going to have a cc limit unless it is like a gnc. scrap the blazer and get a 400ex, one of the most reliable quads made.
