No way I am going anywere but the woods the day after thanksgiving. Last time I went to town just to pick up some shotguns shells I was in line for 45 Mins:grr:

anyone having deep fried turkey this year?

I forgot all about my deep fryer this year :confused:
Were stuffing our faces,then off to maybe watch some FT racing on Sat. and working on quads all wk end.

Turkey
stuffing
Cranberries
Taters and gravy
sweet pot w/marshmellow
rolls
fruit salad w/ cream cheese
APPLE AND PUMPIN PIE
snack trays(veggie and meat w/ meat cream cheese rolld ups)
dips,chips ....OHHH man..... Im STUFFED!

Ahhh... Happy Turkey day!

Mine went like this... The last couple of days I had been having pain in the lower right abdomen. Yesterday it got worse. So fnally at my Drs advice, I go to the ER. Well, a doc examines me, sets me up for a CAT scan. Next thing I know, a surgeon is talking to me! He said they are setting up the OR right now! So at midnight last night, I went under the knife. This morning for breakfast, they bring me broth and jello. Ok, I understand they have to start me on fluids and soft stuff. But last I ate was a chicken sandwhich at noon yesterday! So when they bring the same broth and jello for lunch, I flipped. Well, as much as I could. I slowly and painfully rolled out of bed, informed the woman I spoke to a nurse about getting regular food, maybe turkey! I am sure I ranted like a little baby, and away she went. So half an hour later, here comes another tray. It had a couple slices of crappy turkey, a scoop of crappy mashed potatoes, and a scoop of crappy stuffing. But I was grinning like a butchers dog as I started eating it! An hour later, they release me. Wonder if it was something I said? :confused: :blah:

Thats gonna suck worse than workin on today! Today, only a few people came in getting groceries they forgot, plus its like time and a half or something... Tommorrow its gonna be so busy!

I had mine out when I was 15.
they told me for 5 DAYS at the ER I probably had GAS!:eek: :grr:
I was rushed in for emergency surgery after going to my family Dr.

Im sorry you had to spend your Turkey day in theER Bart, but Im glad you went and got taken care of,you might not be with us today had you not ;)

would you like me to mail you some pie for desert ??!:D

Yeah, they took my appendix out. Since it serves no use, I think they should remove foreskin AND appendix at birth! ;)

Ive had sweet potatoes,Yams ect... But NEVER had Sweet potatoe Pie.:confused:
