cold blooded 05 400 ex

can any body give me some help on my cold blooded 05 400 ex. is there anything i can do to help it, or something i can buy to fix it. it takes forever for the damn thing to warm up enough to idle on its own and then if i stop for a while it does it all over again. any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

they are all like that. Try putting a 42 pilot jet in it that will help.

I have a 2006 that had the same problem. I swapped out the stock #38 pilot with a #42 and bumped up the idle slightly. The idle is set at rock bottom and can be moved up a little.

42 pilot is the best thing you can do. Its still gonna be somewhat cold blooded though.
