I have never read anything negative about athena big bore kits.

I have rode with two people who had athena big bores. One on a Z and another on a 450R. Both really liked them. I rode the Z with one and it was noticabley faster than mine.

my buddies is decent didn do much fo the bottom end but alot fo the top, she likes to run a little hotter

well i installed this kit on a yfz for someone last week

is made it noticablely faster and added more TQ
