Hey guys,
I just picked up an 05' 450R. Someone told me the 05' carb is the FCR carb while the 04' is not.

Is the 05' carb better or the same as the 04' carbs on the 450R?

The '04 carb is the same as the '05. It's the 06/07's that have the FCR.

Hey guys,
I want to upgrade the stock carb on my 05' 400 with the 06' and newer FCR carbs that come on the newer 450's. I am not looking to have to do many mods to the airbox to make this work.

Right now, I have the stock airbox with the HRC airbox lid and snorkel.

Is there a better carb out there to make my 05' with the full HRC kit work better?
