View Full Version : steering stabilizer help! i need help quick!

Im putting my gibson stabilzer on but it keeps moving up and down, the shaft is whats moving, ive tightened every bolt on the thing and it still flops around:mad:, how do i fix it? thanks

Its on a heim joint, so you can tighten it up all you want and it will still flop. Mine always did.

so it will always flop like that? that doesnt really seem right to me:confused:

You want it to move. If it is a solid mount and you clip something where it is binding you will break the shaft :mad:

I have one just like that, but its a Denton. It doesnt flop around try tightening up the joints? Im not sure man.

My Denton broke real fast. Im going with the Percision for my next dampener.

Mine has some play too.Dont worry about it.Mines is still good after almost 1 year.But it has less resistance and dont leak.Anyone have any ideas.Maybe new oil.
