i have a set of turf tames for the back that im gonna stud up. but for the front my friend was tellin me that my kenda claws would work pretty good studded up. im gonna be racing this winter too so i dont know how well these will do.

I had kenda claw tires on the front last year out on the lake. I dident race or anything. I put 2 strips up the middle and it worked fine.


IMO, you would want the lighteste tire possible. tread patern doesent seem to me like it would matter as long as they arent spaced to far apart.

Are you talking screws or actual studs? If your running screws they would be fine, but if your running real studs I would look at an OEM tire that is a radial.

i just finished studding a set of kenda klaw fronts, 4 studs a lug i went with. i think it came out to 450 or so studs a tire. i'm goin out on the ice on tuesday and i'll snap a couple of pics

i just ordered my hole ice racing setup sway bar lowering kit rear tires and studs hopefully have it going by the weekend to try them out.
