nerf bars

is there any cons about nerf bars i want to get a pair because i like how they look but was wondering if they are uncomfortable after awhile i have rode with them and liked them but do they get old after awhile and do they benafit you

I wish I would have had a set about 3 months ago. I got my foot knocked of my pegs and shattered my knee. So I would say safety is a benifit. I know once I start riding my quad again I am going to have a set on it.

It takes some time getting ust to them but you won't even notice them after a while. I would get the kind with heel guards too. Thats just my prefrence.

they only thing you have to get used to is gettin on and off.. I find my NB's help me out lots.. sliding into trees.. my foot coming off when the pegs are wet.. it really sucks running over your own foot.. the only BIG downfall is when you wipeout.. if it rolls on you right.. you will get hit by the NB's.. other then that the pros outweigh the cons..
