WOW!!

i hate to say it but i was crying by the end of that, because that should'v been me. wow never give up man! live life to the fullest and never regret anything.

when i was in the hospital they wheeled me down to the pralisis (sp?) wing, and at that point my legs were still "tingely". it gave me a boost of hope seeing what some of the people had gone threw. made me stop feeling sorry for myself when i was in my brace.

i wish you the best wish's i can!!

i havnt seen you around much so you might not know what my back factur was, I shattered my T3 and cracked my T4 and T6. i have a slight numbness in my feet sometimes but it fades, the doctors won't know for awhile if it'll go away. I have talked to alot of kids and adults that are in our sport have had the same tragic results that you had and the all say how the motocross community never gave up on em

Keep up the hard work!

My Gf's uncle is in a wheel chair for about 5 years now. He rides his quad and snomobile. Has hand controls in all his vechiles. Runs a cord wood buisness, runs equipment. He goes up and doun escolators. He doesent let it slow him doun one bit. He watched on of my oval track car races, and the next day he was convinced he had to try that. So we are going to try and set up a car for him next year. And find out if the track will event let him race, due to the fact that if the car was ever on fire he cant just jump out.

That was a great video , and I wish you the best of luck with your recovery .

A video like this puts everything into perspective . So many people get down on themselves for small things that happen in life , you have been able to overcome a life changing situation and show to everyone that determination can prevail . Life isn't over until you're 6 feet in the ground .

Two years ago my wife broke her back on her atv. She had a l3 burst fracture. She was told she would never walk or feel anything below the waist again. For several months this was the case. Then one day she started getting some feeling and movement. Little by little it started coming back. Now you would never guess there was anything wrong with her.

This is a pic of her this past summer.

Very touching video, especially when you had your riding gear on, that was awesome! With determination and the never give up mentality you have i know you'll clear any hurdle you come to in life. Keep up the great work man! good luck!

I thank God i've never had any serious injurys. I broke a bone in my hand (nivicular?) and i thought that was a set back because i couldnt ride or work for 8 weeks. But i relised how luck i was and im happy it was just my hand.

Your an insperation to me and im sure many others, your a strong guy and i'd love to shake your hand.

That was a touching video man, I can't wait to see the pics of you riding a quad again because I know you will! I know someone who is also paralized from the legs down who rides a Yamaha rhino with hand controls and another guy who has one arm and go to the dunes all the time with his sandrail.

Good Job man keep your head up!

Good luck my friend!!!

I am 18 yrs old and just recently broke my back as well. I am one of the lucky ones to be fortunate enough to still walk today. It has been 8 and a half weeks now and I am doing the same thing as you right now! Busting my *** working out in the gym at least 5 days a week and trying to get better. I had to wear a brace for 4-5 weeks and I am impressed by my progress thus far. I broke my back the day after Thanksgiving out in Glamis and my crash was EXACTLY like yours. Back end caught, flew over bars, and my quad landed on top of me. I plan to ride President's Day weekend out at Dumont Dunes, but I won't push it by any means. If I don't feel it is safe for me to ride I will not ride. I am going reguardless though. :)

Again, good luck and you are in my thoughts. I whiped a tear out of my eye because I realized how easily this could have been me.

NEVER GIVE UP!!!
