I'm ordering some AC pro-peg nerfs with the pegs that are 1" lower and 1" rear of the stock location.

Anyone else have something like this?

Yes I have those. They are supposed to make it more comfy. It Is easier to ride and shift with riding boots.

That sounds good. Im 6'2 and my legs cramp easly with the standard.

I have had them for a few months and they work great. Makes the transitionfrom sitting to standing easier because your feet are more underneath you and not out in front of you. Hope this helps.

I have them and they are great. I had a Lonestar Framed 250R before with the pro peg mounts on the frame from Lonestar and got used to them being back and down. One inch doesn't seem like much but it feels so much better than the stock position. I am like 6'1" and the stock position made me want to ride with my toes on the pegs

I'm 6'1" also so i feel a little cramped too. thats why i looked at these.

As someone that has them on both of my 450r's and is 6'1 and change, the lowered pegs are the way to go. You won't want to ride with anything else once you get them.

I totally agree with treake.......a buddy sat on my 06 and was on another friend 06 and he said mine was the way to go.....I have a trail tech clamp and Tag T2 CR Hi Bend bars. That helps the cramp feeling also...the stock bars are for grandpa for his utlilty...they are not meant to be on sport quad

11-20-2006, 02:29 PM
i like my stock bars...at least until lonestar buys his flexx bars and sells me the tag t2's. me being 5'3", i felt a little more comfortable on lonestar's bike with the ac relocated pegs, but i went with pro armor stock location as it felt good enough for me and everybody was sold out of the relocated pegs at the time...i think anyone just a little shorter than me would not want them and people of my height would be comfortable on any, but any one over 5'6" would def. benefit from the relocated pegs

Sammy5x were you running these nerfs when Dale reversed the Warhorse? Reason I ask is I had just gotten the Rath propegs just before that race and destroyed them nets and all. Could not imagine being an inch lower unless it is just the actual peg position vs. nerf location.

11-21-2006, 01:54 PM
just the peg position is lower, not the nerf itself

I did not have them on for the race but where I practice ride is just like the warhorse. I have been using them for a while now and they are holding up ok.

Thanks for the pics guys. Outlaw I love those nerfs...

Anyone know of any other companies that sell relocated pegs like that.

I was originally going to get a set of blingstars in black with the integrated peg, but those blacline AC's with the relocated pegs are awesome.

I still have no nerfbars just the stock heelguards which are not worth $hit!
Just happened to me at a track saturday. I got sideways a little and landed my foot slipped of the peg, the wheel ate it and the slammed my face into the dirt and knocked me out. At least I had my riding boots on. Im going tomorrow to get my ankle break set and a bone chip removed. :(
