View Full Version : My thoghts on the Powerbomb!!!

Well... installed the powerbomb today. First thing I noticed when I fired it up was how much it effected the sound output. It's hard to explain. It still sounds the same. Still has the same deep throaty sound, but just doesn't bark as lound during idle or when you punch the gas. So I am very happy with how it changed the sound.

Power.. Well let me just first say I was running a bit rich in the bottom end (idle to 1/4 area) before the bomb so I still need the fine tune adjustment. But it might be ok now because when I tore *** up and down my street I noticed quite a bit more throttle response in that area. Seems as if I couldn't keep the front end down. I will let everyone know how it runs as soon as I go riding for real...

You will find it has a good bit more Low end with the PB. Doesnt really give it anything on top, well it didnt on the one i put together. But i think its worth the money, because it does give it pretty good low-mid.

not sure if this is stupid or not but...would a power bomb benifit the factory muffler or would i need to get the full system for any noticable power difference?
