a jet kit will do noting unless a performace upgrade is added that requires more gas / air

There's a link to some pictures of 250ex's so you can see what you might want to do. You've probably looked though it though.

Skip the bumpers and get a full exhaust(maybe a Curtis Sparks or HMF) hets, and a air filter. Skids are improtant too.

Thats a good idea. Now Im thinking of getting a arm guards and a front bumper. I dont think I need anything performance wise at the moment.

a arms skids are a waste. I race some of the nasty tracks in PA and never found a need for them. If you hit stuff with them, learn to hit that stuff with your tires instead.

that may be the case for racing but im out in the woods and trust me the a arm guards a better for me cuz if i hit the stuff with my tire im gonna most likly put a hole in it but then a agian i have a nasty woods with anything and every thing in it, pluse with a month i had em on i put my atv on its grab bar to see if anything would have dented then and sure enough they we sliced up pretty deep so that just saves on the wear and tear for me anywase

a arm guards are a total waste of money. for the same price as those pointless pieces of metal you could buy a filter and jet kit and just lift the front end over the big scary rock
