Carb Nightmare...

Anyone running a Mikuni TM-32 carb on their 300EX? Our bike came with one. It originally had a 11:1 Wiseco piston, but when we had it rebored, we put a 8.9:1 (stock) Pro-X piston in.

Now the bike runs like crap past 1/4 throttle. With the clip on position 3, the bike runs hotter than he!!. Clip in position 4, bike runs cooler, but still crappy.

This carb comes stock with a 250 main, 45 pilot, 389-Q2 needle jet, 5FP17 jet needle.

Any insight is appreciated!

Your stator might be heading south on you. My R did the exact same thing. Its like no matter what you do you can't get it jetted right. It runs rich but it also runs hot like its lean. Get your stator checked. It happens overnight.
