I was talking to a guy at kragen today who builds his own race motors, and we were talking about the assembly lubes he carries, and he says a trick of the trade is to mix

10-30 motor oil, stp oil treatment(blue bottle), and white lithium grease in equal parts. to make a nice thick assembly lube that lasts a long time, and also doesnt have the small particles some of the mainstream assembly lubes have.

anyone ever heard of this and know if it would work the same in an atv, im assuming it would, im going to mix some to check out the texture

White lithium grease is all I ever use.

That sounds like it would be OK on a cam or shift drum but I wouldn't put that mess on a new piston and rings.

I always have used white lithium grease with no problems. Might make a batch of the lube lpmaster is talking about just so see though.

I dont use this mix for my piston.. there is no need for it.. just regular oil will do wonders.. I use this for all the other moving parts.
