im putting a new starter button on my 300ex and i cut the two wires that go to the buttion hooked it up and nothing. i have a manual and i fallowed it and still nothing.l the button is a kx250 kill.

did you wire the factory kill switch(orange slider) into a loop so that its always in the on position?

im not sure. All you have to do it open the black light switch box and look in.

the light box is gone. i took it off 3 months ago.

The wires are black and yellow with an orange stripe or orange with a yellow stripe.
