heres a tip if u are going to sell it, take all the aftermarket stuff off, sell all that, and then put the stock parts back on and sell the quad, cause i see u spent some money on those back wheels

with the 18 inch holeshots it goes bout 60 with the stock 22 inch ones it goes bout 75-80

i would say 3500, after market parts dont really mean much when selling locally.

oh and about the speed, there was a video a while back that showed a stock 250ex being clocked at 52 mph on dry grass with a police radar gun. with 18 inch tires thats like dropping two teeth on a front sproket of a chained quad. dropping one tooth is about a 3-5 mph loss in top speed so you do the math, that thing isnt going over 50 TOPS even with a big bore kit.

ok well im gettin the trail tech vapor and ill no how fast in a month or so and ill inform u guys,b.c my 250 hauls,smokes 300s and keeps up wthi 400s, i no 250s are ment to b slower but mines faster

wiht the 18 inchs i go just as fast as a 250 with just a filter and jet and 22's,im goin to get it clocked and show u guys b.c i no it goes way faster than 60

My 400 only goes 68 MPH. So if you can keep up your prally looking under 60. You can only rev and make a 250 CC 4 -stroke engine with that kinda style engine go so fast

I remember another kid that thought his blaster could go 60-75.... It was pretty embaressing when I clocked it at 45 (yeah the kid was me awhile ago...) I still ride a blaster with minor mods and I know for a fact that my blaster would keep up with your 250ex anyday... Its a nice quad ,but good looks don't make it go faster... Wouldn't it be nice if you really could get 20mph extra out of tires! I'd buy em! LOL I don't want to sound like a jerk, you deffinatly have a nice ex. ;)

I used to have a trail tech speedometer, and I only got 50.7 mph, and that was on a flat road held wide open in the top of 5th gear for about 15 seconds. That is as fast as mine will ever go. I had 22 inch tires on. There is no way a 250 will go 75-80 unless it was rolling down a hill in neutral.

I think you should part it out, then sell the stock bike. You would probably get more money out of it that way.

With 22" tires your 250ex big bore, stock, turbocharged.. whatever will ahve the exact same top speed as a bone stock 250ex.

Only way to change that is to change the gearing in the back differential or increase the rev limit. But honestly, with the non-baloon tires and more power your llikley to get less top speed. Tire doesn't baloon out to a larger diameter, and the stock clutch is likley to slip with a big bore piston.

As a comparison.. I wouldn't think my quad wouldn't sell for more than $2200.

I'm really not trying to be an ***, but it is NOT goin 60 with 18's or even 22's. People have clocked 250ex's, and I'm gunna have to call BS on the statement about keeping up with 400's. You may be a few lenghts behind untill you hit about 45 (about your top speed with 18's) but a 400 should just cruise away from you.
