Bent axle

I have a 300ex with a slightly bent axle. How can I straighten it myself. It isn't bad enough to replace it there is jut a slight wobble

You'll have to take it to a place that does that kind of thing. Me and my dad tried to bend a 200x axle back which didn't go good. We got it alil straighter but not much.

Ive seen an axle staightening add in the back of my dirt wheels. The add says for $75. Just thought you may want to check it out.

well im not sayin dont get a lsr but i ride hard mx and it has held up toe casing a 100 foot step up soo and a bunch of the budget riders they ride them too none have problems and there gurenteedsp haha but i like mine but hey if you have the money go for the lsr

You could probably find another good used stocker for that price.

I would think you would need a press of some sort although I've never tried to straighten an axle.

If it has a slight bend it may be difficult to get it better.

Look around on ebay, might be able to find one there cheap if you're unable to straighten it.

you can straighten out the axle without any problem provided you have a hydro press.

make a lil jig so that you can roll the bare axle to pinpoint where the bend is and mark it. place it in the press and straighten it accordingly, place back in the jig and test again. repeat the process untill its totally straight.
