that amount of hp seems far fetched to me..

But I love turbos! Im in the process of building a turbo 5.0 mustang. Nothing to extreme, probly 500 hp.

There's been a few that have been close.. those motor's make VERY high horse power number's but they are basically dyno machines and that's it..

yea they are badass yotas. friends got an 88 that we are currently building up.

i know what you mean by dyno machines. RWD + turbo hit = tire explosion

there is this shop here in portland where i live and there house supra made around 1600 and some change. the funny thing is that the only trany that wouldnt melt down is a chev turbo 400. lol i guess that everything with a ton of power has a lil bit of bowtie in it

i think they show a dyno vid on the page if u look close. 1500 hp isnt far fetched, ur prolly gonna break something soon and ur def gonna need race fuel. that turbo is a monster

like mxjunkie they are only dyno machines...... anyone with a little bit of cash can make a car with 1000+ horsepower but the hardest thing in drag racing is getting it to the 60 foot line without smoking the tires. thats why teh little rice boys always race on the highway starting at 55mph

Thats the second time I've seen it listed... It's definatly a fast *** street car, I don't know what it runs in street trim, but I do know 8's in a street car is insane...

it runs 59 pounds of boost, and fuel system can support 2000 hp.

i wonder how often it blows head gaskets

I have to disagree with this comment. With the use of an auto trans and proper suspension there are some very fast supras out there. I belive titan motorsports is in the high 7 second range. There not dyno queens anymore.

MARKO DJURICH, PREVIOUS OWNER, WELL KNOWN, COMPLETELY RESPECTED, A TRUE DIE HARD AUTOMOBILE ENTHUSIAST DROVE THIS CAR NOT ONLY ON THE STREET BUT AT THE TRACK AND ALSO AT NATIONAL EVENTS. THIS BEAST WON THE 2002 NHRA STREET TIRE CLASS EVENT AT ATCO NEW JERSEY WHICH WAS TELEVISED ON ESPN2! IT WAS THE ONLY CAR THAT WAS DRIVEN TO THE EVENT AND NOT TRAILERED.

"I'VE NEVER HEARD OF ANY CAR DRIVING 100 MILES TO THE TRACK, MAKING FOUR 8 SECOND PASSES, WITH THE BEST OF 8.45 @ 162MPH, THEN DRIVING HOME ANOTHER 100 MILES!" ------ WOW

The GT47-88 turbo that is used on the car has a 1500whp power rating so 1520whp isn't far fetched.

The owner of the car is a guy by the name of Marco, I cant remember his last name. The president of Chicago Motorcars, the company selling the car, Parin Shaw, i think thats how you spell his last name, bought one of my supras, the 98', from me less than a year ago. Anyhow Marco and Parin are good friends and while Parin was down here he was telling me all about Marco's car. The supra makes every bit of that power and runs low 8s in the 1/4 mile, not to mention it has probably been paid of just by running in the street, there are many stories to tell about this car. It is true that many supras are strictly dyno queens, and they are good at it, but that also depends on how the car is set up, ie. laggy turbos. My car makes around 715whp and for the size of the tubo, 67mm, it has virtually no lag.
