Ok so i've been noticing quite a bit of slack in my chain. how can i take the slack out of it without having to replace it with a new one. this is also the stock chain.

You loosen up the 4 bolts on the top of the swinger, use the 2 small bolts on the back of it to adjust it, just make sure that athe lines are matching on both sides of the bracket, then make sure you get them tightened back up

no...he has an 05 so it doesnt have two bolts in the back. it only has 1 in the middle. but like he said, loosen the 4 bolts on top the swingarm and then turn the one bolt in the middle of the back. once you have it adjusted to where it belongs, tighten the hell outta the 4 bolts on the top of the swingarm.

first, get a service manual! But for now, do as said above, but torque the top, left side bolts to like 76ft-lbs, and the top, right bolts to 52ft/lbs. around in there is where the torque is supposed to be. and be sure to keep that chain lubed!
