well C-12 is a commonly used "race gas" ...i think its around 108 octane. oil is really up to you, I use royal purple mixed at 36:1. Its pretty much your preference of what oil you want to run, different manufacturers have different mix ratios they want you to use...how much compression do you have?

Ya compression is the big factor in what kind of gas is best. And all race gases are pretty much equal, ive used turbo blue alot and now I run Citgo race fuel, its alot cheaper then VP. It was 4.99 a gal last time I bought it and when I checked prices on VP 5 gal buckets were around $50 for the cheapest stuff so thats $10 a gal. As far as premix goes its pretty much up to you and the oil maker, it could be anywhere from 32:1-50:1. Ive always mixed mine at 32:1 just because thats whats recomended and thats what my friend said he always mixed at. When I get my R motor built Ill probably ask around to see whats the best ratio for my specific needs. My tank says 20:1 on the R and the banshee said 32:1 so It all depends.

personally for the oil, i run Maxima Castor 927, mixed at 32:1. The maxima is easy to find, works great, and is reasonably priced.
