Ideas? - 400ex Gas Leak

I've looked through posts going back a ways and don't see anything related.

My '99 400ex leaks gas out the overflow when the quad is in the uphill position. I bought the bike new and have never torn into the carb on this bike so it's not just put together wrong (or adjusted poorly). Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thats normal. Just like when you tilt it back to work on the underside. Keep on Gassin' on it and get up that hill! :)

It is normal, but there is a limit to that normality. If it is like running our the whole tank and you're not on that steep of a grade, then it could be that your float needs to be adjusted. you need a float level to do the job right. I have a Clymer manual and it has very good pics/documentation on it. I can scan them and email them if you need em.
