450r shocks

how much different are 450 shocks on a z400, even if its just rec. riding in the woods and such....are they worth spending the money on if i might not be racing much

I like the adjustability of the stock R shocks, and being the Z400 uses a slightly longer shock then the 400ex, it may make a decent budget swap. Having them revalved/resprung would be the best approach, but if you are a heavier rider then they could be fine just the way they are. The good thing is if they do not meet your satisfaction, it is easy to get your money back out of them
