Does anyone think it would be possible to get 05' 300ex plastics and put them on a 97' 300ex. If so, would it require fabrication? Any input is appreciated.

05 and 97 plastics are the same...just a different color...the 2007 model is the first year that the palstics ahve changed in style other than color since the introduction of the 250x in 1987...

Confirming the previous posters comments. They still even have the slot in the plastics for the kickstarter.
