i have a kodak easy share digital camera that takes videos and when i make movies i use windows movie maker, the format of the videos i take are automatically saved as quicktime. I never use quicktime and i probably never will. how do i change the formats of the vids so i can make movies with them on movie maker? can i just resave the file with a .wmv after it?

No you can't just rename the file with a .wmv You would have to use a video conversion program. And I will tell you that converting quicktime movies are some of the most difficult to do. I have a prgram that will convert .avi and .mpg to .wmv and back and forth, but it still doesn't convert quicktime files.
