one of my buddies was telling me he saw a 450r head that had 5 valves, two intake and three exhaust, anyone else seen this? anyone have a website for it?

no it was a 450r, he'd know the difference hes certified harley honda yamaha kawasaki and suzuki mechanic......

dont take offense but some of them mechanics arn't the brightest sometimes..... but i would put a bet on it that it was a yfz head

yea, I have one,.... I had to design a new piston to fit another ex valve relief pocket, a new cam to accomadate another exhaust lobe/follower setup, new designed head, bigger volume'd exhaust port slowing volocity and decreasing overall VE...
