Well, you don't have many options. The only thing I could think of are wheel spacers, but I would think that it would put too much stress on your front end. The only real way to lower and wider your quad would be to add a-arms which would require suspension work because it would be too hard on your stock setup. Or you could add smaller tires like 18s and 19s that will lower it slightly and make it slide better.

Right now smaller tires and adjusting your stock suspension. Do not add wheel spacers:rolleyes:

Go buy some lowering kits when you lower it w/ them it will make it a little wider, as for spacers, well I've been running them on the front of my 426ex for 5 yrs w/ NO issues, we run them on our YFZ , 300ex also but they are flattrack quads!! DO NOT jump w/ spacers & you'll be OK, you can go w/ an offset wheel too!!!

What type of racing?? if it's mx or cc NO SPACERS if it's flattrack it's fine :) hope this helps you out!! IF you have the $$ then a arms & shocks :)

here's something I found thats pretty cool.. you can widen with this kit.. and you can drop it with a durablue lowering kit.. should cost you around $400 for everything to lower and widen...

You'd be better off with spacers for TT.
That kit will add bumpsteer since the lever points are moved outward, while the tierod lever points remain inboard.

As the arms move up and down, the wheels are going to turn in and out a small amount. Dunno if I would want my steering changing me when powersliding into a corner. ;)

The only thing I like that is made my diamond J customs is my shock relocater for my 300ex. It allowed me to bolt 450r shocks right up.
