street sign protection

im on the ultimate budget ($o) and so i figured id save some money buy makeing skid plates out of street signs. what do u think?

Although I don't support the vandalism of county property, I have seen it done. The stuff is pretty stout so it would probably work good. Just don't get caught or complain about raises in taxes. ;)

Would be good budget material... good galvanized coating. Gonna be heavy.. but it's free, and you can't beat free.
