bout 25K!!!

10k for the rhino
3 - 7k for suspension and arms and stuff
$800 for rims and tires
$4,500 for super charger
1k engine work

Lots of other odds and ends (seats, 5 point, ect)

yeah they are ridiculously priced...but people are willing to pay it...some people sell their rhinos for as much as long travel rails. dont forget to add in the price of a better roll cage, bumpers, doors, seats, some have serious sound systems...the list goes on and on haha...definatly cool though.

IMO they are not worth the money that is required to race them. Most of them are very front heavy and most of them do not have the power to get the front end up off of jumps. Corrys with the CBR600 engine is really the only one with enough power. For the money I would by a long travel rail.

And to those that say $25k is all those cost, think again. I have a friend with one that is less setup than those and he has over $30k into it. Some of those are sponsered heavily so they don't cost as much to build, but for the average person to built one equal to those it would cost close to $50k.

I could easily argue that. First off to race the Rhinos, you "must" have a fuel cell and aftermarket "approved" rollcage, which starts you out at close to 4k minimum in upgrades, and that is with a mild steel cage. Second of all, the suspension will cost alot more than your average quad suspension setup. My quad is setup for mainly MX and I am prob only up to $20K max, including the cost of the machine. Keep in mind I built it when the 400ex was not near as cheap as it is now. They are at $20k to make it "eligible" to race in most circuits and the price goes up significantly after that to make it competitive.

Actually you are wrong. To race a rhino you do not need a fuel cell or an approved roll cage. There are stock rhinos that race with the race rhinos. Last weeked there was a race in Soboba and 1st and 2nd place were both stock rhinos. The other ones that were race all broke lol.

What racing series allows stock Rhinos? They are clearly not concerned with safety.

gojk is right whether you like it or not. first of all if you want a rhino you better have $10,000 lying around. suspension isnt cheap either.for example, socal's suspension is about $5,500. now your over $15,000 and you havent even put a cage on, fuel cell (you can argue that but alot of people do it), wheels and tires, motor upgrades, doors and body work, seats, and the list goes on...a quad is cheaper than a rhino. you dont see quads selling for $35,000.

I have seen stock rhinos race. As far as I know most rules all you need is a seat belt and doors. Maybe it was a local series but I have seen stock rhinos racing in pictures in my I belive dirt wheels mag. It was a yellow limited edition rhino
