Well Chino886 said on the for sale thread he sent me it was +1.25 but I matched it up with my stocker and it looked alittle bit bigger but not much and there's plenty of stock chain for it. So I don't know but I'm very happy with it.

What is this, a bash Chino886 thread...........LOL!

Looks good brother!

It is longer, I think it is hard to measure different items of different designs. Trust me, at times I wished I would of had a stock length swinger when you go clipping landings.....LOL!

it is hard to measure it up to another swingarm. You really need to measure from the exact center of the swingarm bolt to the exact center of the bearing carrier. Manufacturers have solid inserts with crosshairs on them to pin point the centers. Ahhh... luxury of having your own machine shop

How's it handle?

Now that is customer satisfaction, 6 days after I ship it, you have it installed and ready to ride!

looks good but why did u go w/ a +1.25'' if its set up for woods?

oldskoolex400
11-16-2006, 02:38 PM
looks awesome but like chino how does it handle now? was it worth the money doing that? whats your future plans for mods now?

Honda#4
11-16-2006, 02:39 PM
I mainly got it cus of the deal, nothing else. Yea Chino when I get something it's gotta go on Right A Way otherwise I get sick and I can't sleep all night. It handles like a dream come true although my shock is alittle on the stiff side so thats what it feels like but I don't mind it like that. It took me about 1 and a half to put it on and torque the bolts to spec.

He is doing it step by step for MX! He has other plans in mind, but the money tree is tapped for now!

I can't say that I blame you Honda#4, for the deal I gave you, or anybody that would of bought it, I would of bought it too!

BigFish
11-16-2006, 02:52 PM
^^^^^I was just wondering. He definitely hurt his woods riding w/ that extra 1.25" as well as not having skid mounts;) He will love it on the track, though

Honda#4
11-16-2006, 02:54 PM
I still would have bought it brand new if you had it that way Chino. I don't know if i'll ever get into mx or not but I hope so though, I wish someone would offer me a job on their team or something like that, I don't know but the whole atv scene comes really natural to me.

P.S I still have plenty plenty of money.

Honda#4
11-16-2006, 02:56 PM
I don't do any woods riding mainly just ride on our 250+ acres of farmland.

i wouldnt exactly post this for everyone to read, they get a wiff of the fact you have plenty of money and you wont get a deal on anything else. might just be rambling just trying to help you out man

Honda#4
11-16-2006, 05:23 PM
Yea maybe that was a bad idea, It's ok chino no insult taken. I don't know if I plan on buying anymore stuff, if any it's gonna be a Roll front end and a Lonestar axle but I highly doubt it that i'll ever get it. I was thinking about getting stuff for my carb like a #42 pilot jet and them updated float bowl screws from jetrus. I don't plan on buying from anyone anymore due to the fact that I have pretty much all I need for right now.

oldskoolex400
11-16-2006, 05:29 PM
well anyway how does it ride with it on, what is the big difference in riding it now compared to how it was?

Honda#4
11-16-2006, 05:46 PM
It feels like the rear of the bike is alot stiffer if that makes sense like somewhat taller and it feels more planted on turns at faster speeds than my stocker. I did however get a 14T front sprocket and that's where my changes came from mostly, I can still wheelie somewhat good and my torque went up alot from what my stocker did. I feel that I can handle turn alot better and more precise than what I use to. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

oldskoolex400
11-16-2006, 05:50 PM
so it was def worth it?
how long did it take to install?

Honda#4
11-16-2006, 06:00 PM
O it's definently worth it. I was getting sick of that stocker. It took me about an 2 hrs to put it on, had to take it off once cus the chain was under the swingarm roller so that cost me about 25 minutes, then my brake caliper bolt would'nt go in cus I did'nt turn the carrier enough so that delayed me another half hour, so it should have been a hour to a hour and a half without those problems. I took my stocker off two days before my Roll came just so I was ready and to see if I was gonna have problems with my stupid pivot bolt but that came right out just like pie off a plate.

Anyone else have any other questions or replies.

oldskoolex400
11-17-2006, 09:11 AM
so basically its mainly for MX riders?? ive seen XC bikes with +1.25......

Honda#4
11-17-2006, 09:17 AM
You could have it either way I think, it's just the way it's setup I don't really know the setups for MX and XC . It would definently handle alot different if I had a aftermarket shock and linkage on it.

coryatver
11-17-2006, 09:35 AM
I got a +1.25 houser swing arm on my xc bike it works great! It keeps the front end down.

Honda#4
11-17-2006, 09:42 AM
got any pics of it.

oldskoolex400
11-17-2006, 09:49 AM
anything else it does beside keep the front end down? the TT guys run shorter ones i know does this decrease traction so they can put it around the turns better.

can you notice it not turning as well with the extended swinger?

Honda#4
11-17-2006, 10:13 AM
It turns about the same I guess, I can't really feel it. You can slide the rear alot better with a shorter swinger thats why TT guys run them and it gives u less traction so they do spin more. When you have a longer swinger it streches the center of gavity on the bike alittle more than stock and it puts more power to the ground.

oldskoolex400
11-17-2006, 10:32 AM
i figured with a longer swingarm it would make your shock be valved to light compared to running a stock length

Honda#4
11-17-2006, 11:10 AM
Actually mine is on the stiff side rather than soft.
