... well maybe not the world , but atleast the Movie Industry . July 2007 , The Simpsons Movie is set to be released .

Personally , I think it'll be the largest money making movie of all time . There's just so many people out there that have watched The Simpsons over the last 2 decades . Hell I'm gunna be 24 and still watch the show .

I also heard on the radio today , that the movie set is for The Simpsons Movie has the tightest security around and that after every "scene" is done , the scripts are shreaded and completly destroyed so that nothing about the movie gets leaked out to the media or to the public . :eek2:

So what's your thoughts about this?

I can remember being 12 years old when Simpsons began. No matter where I was, I would quit doing whatever it was to get home and watch the Simpsons w/ the family.

I haven't been as an avid fan for the past sevens years or so, I've always enjoyed the first years the most.

south park will never be on the same level as the simpsons....the simpsons are classic and they can be watched by basically any age group compared to south park witch just hits the 16-22 year olds (some others that are older but still think like teens) ...the simpsons should be good, i will go see it...i been watching the simpson as long as i can remember

I grew up watching the Simpsons and it was definately my favorite show growing up. But times have definately changed and the newer Simpsons horribly disgust me, they aren't anything like the older ones and I just can't stand that. I for one will not be seeing The Simpsons movie as it will probably be just like the new episodes, which suck in my opinion. I don't see it being as big of a hit as everyone is making it out to be.

As for the age for South Park being 16-22, my dad loves to watch the show and he's 51.

Haha, same thing with mine when ever I'm sitting there watching it he wonder's his way in..

So I take it actual people are playing the part's of the people in the show kinda like the flintstones movie?

The simpsons was the funny cartoon to watch up until family guy aired. The simpsons seem to be getting better with new episodes, but I'm tired of re-runs. It's on 24/7.

I'll wait for it to come out on DVD to rent it. From what I've read and heard from friends it was a very disappointing movie. What can you expect when the show was drug on for way too long and then they released a movie. You can only do so much in an hour and a half to two hour block of time.

Obviously you are too young to have seen South Park in it's prime, along with The Simpsons. As far as Family Guy goes..it can be funny but when you've seen one episode you've seen them all.
