When I stand her up in a wheelie she stalls. What could cause this. When it's up on it's *** there is gas comming out of the overflow could it still be a float problem?

Gas is supposed to come out of the overflow when you are wheeling. Make sure the overflow is drainign toward the rear if the quad. If you have it going uphill it wont drain, and it will flood the carb.

Yeah the gas does pour out the hose but thats when it's on the grab bar. I will hav to slowly stand it up and see when it starts to drain out

Also make sure the air vent tube on the carb isn't crimped.

I'll have to check these hoses out. The bike works perfect till I stand it up.

I do a lot of wheelies myself, but you have to understand a quad is not designed to be at 12 o'clock. Every quad I have ever wheelied has fuel running out of the drain hose. Float level is set when the quad has all 4 on the ground. When the quad is straight up on the back wheels the carb is pretty close to 90 degrees off from where it should be. If you are keeping it at 12 o'clock long enough it will eventually start sputtering on you.

300's always overflow more than other quads. prob whats happening is its just losing too much fuel at once causing it to stall. unfortunatly theres not really a fix, the only thing you can do is try to route the overflow tubes a little different to try and get the fuel to stay in longer. other than that, keep it on all fours:D

iv done the same thing on my 250ex. it stalls to that just because of the float. and yes the gas drains out of the rear so thats nothing new so i wouldnt worry about it:blah:

This just got worse lately I used to be able to wheelie it no problem. I dont thing there is water in the carb or anything.

Clean the petcock filter.
