Do I have to buy a tool to adjust it? I cant even figure out how to do it.

Your fuel screw is located on the bottom of the carb. Just a screwdriver. A really short screwdriver.

or a thumb adjustable screw from Ebay or CD Racing maybe

Your stock 06' screw might have a "D" shaped head instead of a normal slotted screw driver head.

Thanks man that did help. Im going to look into buying one. I rejetted my carb, but need to adjust the a/f for fine tuning.

he has a 06, you CANT use a screw driver, you need a special tool.
what i did was buy one of the quick adjust screws. to install it you need to remove the bowl from the carb then use a pliers to inscrew the stock one.

'06 trx 450r has a 'd' shaped mix screw n the bottom of the carb, you get the tool with a jetting kit, around 50$ , or you could build one with a piece of 5/16" cold roll and a bench grinder
