with that gearing you can expect to go at least 100 kph

With 15/33 gearing & 18" tires, around 120 mph, better be sure the tires are balanced though.

Sensor,,:o :o :o :D :p :p thats a good one.

you guys are outta you f-ing minds. 15 is a big f/s and 33 is small. 120 mph? maybe on NOS. or alcohol. 85 or so unless you got quite a bit of mods. i know gearing changes it. and at that gearing you would go faster but not that fast. especially not with 18s. that tire would take so many revolutions to go that fast. keep fantisizing.

I guess if you dont know, you just dont know, :D :D :D

I can see where riding a 4 stroke, it would make you think a 4 wheeler couldnt go that fast, but surprize surprize.

My blaster engines I build, pull a 16/38 gear, if it dont, we got rider problems.

Some of the big motor banshee drag boys are running 20 & 21s on the front, modded of course.

my 86 atc250r can pull 14/38 on 18" tires with no question about it, I am putting tri-moly sidewinder 14/36 sprockets on it. Look at the long list of mods for it. I always used 14/39 on woods 250r's too. Another 250r I just built uses 14/38 sidewinders, I am considering going to a 36 on that one too. I have a 86 200x that pulls 14/36(one up in front and 2 down in back) on 18" tires and can pull a holeshot no question about in 2nd and can pul 3rd gear starts also. Its all about how/who the motor was built. I had a friend that built 240 blaster that would give most 400ex's, 300ex's, 250r's, banchees, etc a real good run for there money and he won about 1/2-3/4 of the time. there was a guy at a local track that had a sparks cylinder(almost stock bore) on his bike, sparks pipe, 38 a/s, cr250 intake and reeds and advanced timing, his bike would pull 15/36 very easily. You 4 poke guys just don't know what a good modded 2 stroke motor can do.

My 265 pulls 14/36 with 18s easy. Mabey I should try a 15 up front. Where do these 4 stroke guys come from?

Deathman,
Those 4 stroke guys do know, why you thing they are trying to justify that 6000.00 to 15000.00 they are spending on that 4 stroke trying to make it run.

If I spent that much just to get a engine to realy run like it needs to & then it blow up like the 4 strokes are doing, I would be degrading the 2 strokes myself.

B,
dont need no gas or hair dryer to make them run, when that pipe & port match up,,,,move over & let the BIG DOGS EAT.

hehe..yeah what he said ;) my 295 PV easily pulls 15/36 with 20's or 18's on it. Might have to hunt down my 34 tooth rear, slap on some 20" Hoosiers, dust off the leathers, and visit the 'strip this spring .
