I installed an asv clutch lever, but it left a bunch of slack on the cable. i adjusted the cable on the right side of the motor but i cant figure out how to know when it is perfectly adjusted. And i cant tell if it is still slipping at WOT. is there an easy way to adjust it, and know that its right?

If there is slack you won't be disengaging the clutch all the way. If its tight, then it will be slipping. When I installed both my cr250 levers, I had to adjust them all the way out to get rid of the slack. Adjust the cable at the lever and at the engine case.

ok.. screw out the adjuster on the hand lever a lil bit.. maybe a 1/8 inch or a lil more.. now go to your engine side and adjust the cable there.. pull it as far through as you can without putting a lot of force into it.. now go back to you hand lever and turn the adjuster in till you have 1/4 inch freeplay in the lever..
