300ex 14 tooth sprocket?

Im thinking of getting a 14 tooth sprocket for my 300ex. i just want a better chance of keeping up with my friends. how much more speed will i get? also how much does it affect the acceleration?

a14t sprocket will help out a little on topend but it will take away some of your bottomend i would go up on the front and down in the rear that is if your not worried about your bottomend,it also depends on what size tires u have

i didn't notice that big of a difference with mine


but it was put on after not riding it for 6 months
