Posted this on a few sites.

When it rains it pours,

1st problem,
The bottom left cylinder bolt stripped where it tightens into the case, I over tighten it on accident so it just keeps spinning,

2nd,
I believe this caused the gasket on the cylinder head to blow.

3rd,
exhaust gasket blew out, had to remove completely,

4th,
Carburetor has a hole in the float bowl from rubbing against the plastic cylinder shield.

Fun day, but the plastic chrome fan cover I bought from Hetrick sure looked good as it sat there.

Any suggestions on how to fix the stripped hole in the case, and is there an extended intake manifold I can get for a 24 mm mikuni? Or should I rig something up, it only needs a half an inch or so to stay off the plastic case.

#1 use a heli core
#2 yes to head gasket problem
#3 use silicon
#4 you can remove the plastic sheid, it will hold in the heat
