300ex choke removal

Does removing the choke do that much?
If it is a good mod, can someone tell me what to do and what not to do?

i had mine apart and back together in 10 min( not counting the time the silicon to harden) i noticed a little more bottom. when you take the choke off there will be a hole on the left side of the carb and that is where i used the silicon at, you need to do this to keep dirt and such from getting into your motor. if you need a to know exactly what to do ill see if i cant help you...later...
