i have a 2006 swingarm, with a fox podiumk shock, and the GT thunder link that was run on a 2006 bike... are all years the same for the 2nd link in the linkage?

If everything is a 2006 as you say it is, it should work. If your set on running the GT Thunder, I would talk with them. Otherwise, I'd look at another linkage like Houser, JB racing, Lonestar, etc.

my bad. i didnt explain myself that well... will the 2nd half of the linkage off a 2005 work with the GT thunder link and not throw off all the ratios.

I would say probably not, but I would contact GT Thunder and see what they have to say about it. They should be able to give you a correct answer and reasoning.

yeah, or find someone with an 06 and 05 link, then put them side by side. The swingarms are different and they needed to correct the design of the 04/05 linkage. Something for sure changed, what you need to know is was it the dogbone or the banana link. That lol I don't know. I don't have any part of the stock linkage.

no, they also changed the 2nd link from 05 to 06. if you run an 06/07 swingarm on an 04/05 then you also need an 06/07 shock, main link and drop link. since your shock, swingarm and main link is off an 06 the only thing you should need is an 06/07 drop link. try to find a used one because they're $160 new. but definetly stick with the 06 stuff on the rear suspension, it works alot better.

The frames on the 04/05 and 06/07 are the same where the swingarm/linkage bolts up? I'm doing this same thing right now, I have an 06' swinger and complete linkage to put on my 04'. I was going to have a shock built for it. I was planning on getting a GT Thunder 06' link to use with this set up.
