gunna get my frame painted

ok it is offical i am getign my frame painted and need some ideas on color... i was thinking red frame and black plastic or maybe white frame i dunno i need some help!!!

plzz post pics of your 450 if you have had it's frame painted .... perferrably black plastic but red will do

I would not get it painted. It will not last. Get it powder coated.

yea you shouldnt paint your frame it wont last and will look really bad once it all starts chipping away. get it powdercoated and it will last

I have a bud that got his frame painted (his dad owns a body shop) and it has held up reallly well. He ride woods and field and it has worn about like powder coat. Just depends what kinda paint you use and what kinda clear coat.

Anyways....

I like dark blue frame with the black plastic with the plastic having dark blue flames. Kinda like the red/black 07 450r models except with blue.

Yeah, they are the same except for the fact that one last for a month and the other last for years.:p

Powdercoating is by far better. Paint if done right will last pretty well but would also cost about as much. I don't know about you guys but around here the local powdercoated frame runs about 150 for basic colors and around 200 for candies, pearls, and such.

Too neon/bright I think. Try a darker green with metallic flakes or a vein maybe with black plastic. :D
