what kind of horse power should i have with my 400ex? mods listed below....

Get it dyno'ed and you tell us. ;)

After all those mods, what's an extra $100 for some dyno time.

i guess i could. i just figured someome would know or have some idea. how bout speed? any ideas?i just got it back from the shop. still breakin it in, been a lil busy.

speed happends with gearing....but you might have the rpms with running alcohol to go a lil fast but i don't know...most the time gearing is the only thing to et you goin faster

i dont know what its goin to do but i do know its pretty bad.havent got to see what it can do yet but im sure in the hell ready.

well with the bumpers and guards like that those at least give you 15MPH faster ATLEAST....... just kiddin man umm my buddieswhent 80 somthin with a few modds but not a clue on youres

400EX do 80 with a few mods? Right.

Get it Dyno'ed and you'll find out everything you need to know there, they'll even make sure that you're running the correct jetting.

i would think soo my pipe, filter , and jeted 400ex does 73 mph on a straight road with a slight incline.. and no im not lieing had my friend drive in other lane while i drove my truck along side and was head to head at 73

what do people not get about how a motor works? no matter what you do to your motor, it will not go any faster. Yo can run 500 stroker 400ex, on alky, with every mod known to man, but if you still run stock gearing, stock tires, and stock rev box you won't go any faster than stock, you will just get there a hell of a lot faster.

speed all depends on gearing. you do motor mods to give you the power to pull taller gears, and run higher RPM's.
mods do not make you faster, only quicker. the only ways to get faster are taller gearing, or higher RPM's. some run taller tires to get higher gearing, others change sprockets, some change out thier stock CDI to get Higher RPM's.

well i happen to have taller gearing and a white brothers cdi.
