Valve guide question.

Ok guys the valve guides are shot on the 400 so is there anything i need to do besides replace them like lap or grin the valves ?
All info would be appreciated

You may as well check things out and freshen them up while its apart. If the guides were bad what else may be also?

Replace the guides , seals , get another cam , and put a 416 in it while it is apart.
Sound sensible ?
