This wont come off!!! help...

on the yfz it goes through the bearing and then the "stem bottom" slids on and then the nut and washer goes on. i got the nut off but the plate wont budge, i have been beating on the thign all day and nothing.... when i took the stock one off it just slid off, not this one.....

If I remember right, when I took mine off I had the same problem. Try using a wrench and sticking it in between the plate and the stem and hit that upwards. If that doesn't work, which it didn't for me, i just took the stem off the clamp at the top and hit the stem up, causing the plate to just fall off the bottom.

i have been meanign to get a pickle fork but cant find one, i went to the atv dealership (long shot) and to Tractor Supply and nothing....

and how would you go about finding one big enough, i mean the nut that is on the stem is 11/16 (it came from Houser so its not metric)
