Ok i have a new RPM 250R axle and it has just been collecting dust for years. I now have a 2007 450R. Do you know if the 250R axle will fit in the 450R?

No, and neither will a 400ex one no matter what anyone tells you. They might fit in but are definitely not going to work correctly, and I have the proof to back it up!

It can be done. When the 450R first came out I couldn't get an axle so I used 250R parts. I believe i had to use the 250R carrier and modify the swingarm alittle. I even had my 250R caliper on there for a while.

I'm not saying it will slide right in there and work, but anything can be made to fit anything...

Exactly, but it doesn't make it right.

As long as your sprockets align and everthing tightens up, I don't see why not.

it will fit you just need to use some other 250r parts.
here is another thread that explains what you need.

I used a 400ex axle on my 450r swinger with no problem.I didnt have to mod anything.I used the 450r brake rotor though;)
